WAT PHO

 In 2018, TripAdvisor named What Pho #1 Landmark in Thailand and #3 in Asia-Pacific. This 230-year-old temple was listed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World as a documentary heritage for the Asia-Pacific Region in 2008.  Wat Pho is where history, medical science and educational institute combine. It has a famous 46-meters Reclining Buddha.  With 1,360 marble inscriptions about medical, historical, and liberal sciences place all around the temple, Wat Pho is also known as Thailand’s first public university.

ICONSIAM

ICONSIAM is a mixed-use development on the banks of the Chao Phraya River which includes one of the largest shopping malls in Asia. Since it opened in November 2018, it won several international awards including “Best Store Design of the year 2019” at the World Retail Awards by the World Retails Congress. In 2019, it also won the first prize in the Best Shopping Center category at the MAPIC Awards after having been recognized as the Gold Winner by International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in 4 categories: Design and Developments, Business-to-Business, Grand Opening and Public Relations and Events.   Its fountain show won Gold Stevie ® Award in the Art, Entertainment, Entertainment & Public – Art Event.  One of the must visit part of ICONSIAM is SookSiam.  This area integrates the cultural heritage of four main geographical regions of Thailand, capturing performing art, local wisdom, food and delicacies, products, and handicraft, etc.
