Suriyon “Nueng” Sriorathaikul is Managing Director of Beauty Gems, Thailand’s leading jewellery manufacturer. After having studied in the USA and the Gemological Institute of America, he joined the family business 24 years ago. As Managing Director, he oversees finance, marketing and design for the brand. Concerned with the absence of laws and structures to prevent the sexual exploitation of children in Thailand, he became involved with the establishment of the Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights Foundation, which seeks to assess, combat and prevent all forms of child abuse and to protect victims of child labor, trafficking, sexual abuse and commercial sex exploitation.
