Maria Angeles Fernandez Solana, Senior Director, Risk Management, EMEA, Oracle

Maria Angeles Fernandez Solana has worked with Oracle since 2010 as a Senior Director for Risk Management, for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Earlier in her career, she was an IT engineer before merging her leadership competency with her technical background. In 1998, she became the Project Director of the Digitization System for Badan Pertanahan National in Indonesia, a program funded by the Spanish Government. Working actively on pursuing gender balance, she is a Board Member of Oracle’s Women Leadership coordinating mentoring activities internally and cross-company. She also leads the Oracle Reinventa-tech program which allows unemployed women to achieve professional certification in technology skills areas that lead them to possible careers among the program’s participating companies.
