BIOGRAPHY

Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul is a Chairperson of Toshiba Thailand Co., Ltd. and was Thailand’s Minister of Tourism & Sports from 2014-2017. In addition, she has been appointed the Chair of the Board at Kasikorn Bank, one of the top commercial banks in Thailand. She began her career as an assistant to the Project Manager for interior design of the Mah Boon Krong Center before holding several positions at Toshiba where she led business development initiatives. She currently holds numerous positions on several boards, including the National Reform Committee on Economics, Sub Committee of the Office of Public Sector Development Committee, Board Member of Paralympic Committee of Thailand, Honorary President of the Thai-Japanese Association, Vice Chairman of Thai Chamber of Commerce and Committee of The Thai Red Cross Society.
