Gerardo Seeliger has an extensive experience in Executive Leadership and Career Strategy for Challenges in Disruptive Markets. Co-founder of Spain’s largest management consulting and executive search firm. He has wide experience in international business, Start-ups, Sports business administration and Academia.
Current President of Madrid Open City and Founder and President of Círculo para el Diálogo.
Has served as co-founder and Managing Partner at Seeliger & Conde, Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates, General Manager at Bankers Trust, General Manager at Adidas Holding Company, among others.
He has a wide career in the world of sports. Olympic Sailor in 1972, Munich Olympic Games, still competing in dinghy and keel boats at World Championship level. He was President of the Finn, 49er and 29er Classes. Twice GM Spanish American Cup Challenge and President of Challenger of Record Committee, San Diego, 1975. Executive Director at Association of National Olympic Committees (ACNO), closely working with IOC Management. President of the Marketing and TV Committee ISAF, and of the International Classes Committee, ISAF. In ISL Sport Management & Marketing Agency has worked in Olympic Sponsorship TOP Program, FIFA and was Managing Director Europe of Quokka Sports (Digital Sports content).
Current Honorary President International Finn Class, still actively competing in international Finn regattas. Former Member Spanish Olympic Sailing Team, participated in over 20 European and World Championships in Sailing. Competed in Olympic Games and World Triathlon Ironman Championships 1984.
