BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Annette Matzat has headed the Human Resources and Labor Policy Department of Mercedes-Benz Group AG since July 2017. She is also Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Mercedes-Benz Pensionsfonds AG and a member of the Board of Directors of Mercedes-Benz Betriebskrankenkasse, the company’s health insurance fund. After working at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and as Legal Counsel at abaXX Technology AG in Stuttgart, she started her career in 2007 in the legal department of the former Daimler AG. In her current position, she is responsible for HR and labor policy, which includes the topics of diversity & inclusion and sustainability, as well as health management, occupational safety and Group security.
