BIOGRAPHY

With over 30 years of leadership experience, Selen Kocabaş specializes in business development, strategy, and people management. Currently serving as Board Chair of Turgut Aydin Holding, she began her professional career as a Management Trainee at the Koç Group and subsequently held management roles at Arçelik, Marshall Boya, and DanoneSA. She joined Turkcell in 2002 and spent 13 years leading various roles, including HR, Procurement, Strategic Planning, IT, Legal, General Administrative Affairs, and Marketing. In 2010, she was appointed Chief Corporate Business Officer, overseeing marketing, sales, and service operations with profit/loss responsibility and leading Turkcell’s transformation from a GSM operator to a technology and infrastructure company. She has also been a founding partner of Mentoro Platform since 2015 and served as an independent board member at Akiş GYO. In addition, she became the first female president of PERYÖN, Türkiye’s first people management association, and a corporate member of the Ethics and Reputation Association (TEİD).
