BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Dr. Elif Yolbulan Okan is Chair of the Business Administration Department at Bahçeşehir University and the Director of the BAU Branding and Innovation Center. Her research focuses on brand management, consumer behavior, luxury and experiential marketing, employer branding, and cultural heritage and destination branding. She is particularly interested in blending the analytical power of science with the creative touch of art, while bridging the gap between professional practice and academia to build strong and flexible connections across the past, present, and future of marketing. She began her academic career at Yeditepe University in 2003, completing her PhD on consumer complaint behavior. Besides her academic studies, she actively engages with the business world through executive training, consultancy, and sectoral projects.
