BIOGRAPHY

Emine Sabancı Kamışlı is the Co-Founder and Vice Chairperson of Esas Holding since 2000. The founding leader of Esas Sosyal, the social investment unit of Esas Holding, she is committed to social responsibility programs that create sustainable and measurable social impact in the areas of Youth Employment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Equal Opportunity, and Women Entrepreneurship. She began her career at Willis Corroon, a reinsurance company in London. Following her return to Turkey, she served as an Executive Board Member and Commercial Director at Aksigorta, Akhayat and Sabancı Holding between 1989 and 2000. She is a member of UNICEF Turkey Business Advisory Board, a Board Member of the Turkish Businesswomen’s Association (TIKAD), Vice Chairperson of TİKAD Investment, a member of Citiprivate European Advisory Board. As an “Angel Investor” in ARYA Venture Capital Fund, she also represents a leading figure for supporting women entrepreneurs and encouraging angel investors.
