by past participants for the caliber of its attendees and presenters.\u00a0 As CWDI Chair, she has produced 26 reports in 19 years on women directors in different countries, regions, and industries and has convened women board directors and executives to &#8220;ring the bell&#8221; at 17 Stock Exchanges to date, a business tradition in which she feels women must be seen.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"style735\"><span class=\"style21\"><span class=\"style19\">Ms. Natividad\u2019s commitment to promoting women, nationally and internationally, stems from her decade-long involvement with the <\/span><span class=\"style20\">National Women&#8217;s Political Caucus<\/span><span class=\"style19\">, a 35-year-old bipartisan organization dedicated to electing and appointing more women to public office.\u00a0 Widely recognized for her outstanding leadership of the Caucus, she was elected President in 1985 and re-elected in 1987, the first Asian American ever to head a national political organization.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"style735\"><span class=\"style21\"><span class=\"style19\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4569\" src=\"https:\/\/globewomen.org\/globalsummit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/MujerEjecutiva_NatividadPhoto-222x300.jpg\" alt=\"MujerEjecutiva_NatividadPhoto\" width=\"222\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/globewomen.org\/globalsummit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/MujerEjecutiva_NatividadPhoto-222x300.jpg 222w, https:\/\/globewomen.org\/globalsummit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/MujerEjecutiva_NatividadPhoto.jpg 379w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 222px) 100vw, 222px\" \/>During the nineties, she assumed the chairmanship of the <\/span><span class=\"style20\">National Commission on Working Women, <\/span><span class=\"style19\">which works on economic equity issues affecting women through groundbreaking research and training programs.\u00a0 Her commitment to women\u2019s economic empowerment has extended to the global arena, where she has provided a forum through the Global Summit of Women to exchange best practices in accelerating women\u2019s\u00a0economic progress.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"style735\"><span class=\"style21\"><span class=\"style19\">Long known for her coalition work, Ms. Natividad has served on the numerous boards of directors and advisory boards of nonprofits such as the Global Economic Symposium based in Germany and the National Museum of Women in the Arts to corporate advisory boards for Cigna,Wyndham International, <em>Enterprising Women<\/em> magazine, and the National Association of Corporate Directors.\u00a0 She was also a member of the 2012 National Association of Corporate Directors\u2019 Blue Ribbon Commission on Board Diversity and the European Commission\u2019s Network to Promote Women in Decision-Making.She brings to each of these groups her policy expertise, skills in network building and creative program development.\u00a0 In 1994, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sallie Mae, a Fortune 100 company, by President Clinton.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"style735\"><span class=\"style21\"><span class=\"style15\"><span class=\"style20\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4570\" src=\"https:\/\/globewomen.org\/globalsummit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgF-197x300.jpg\" alt=\"imgF\" width=\"197\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/globewomen.org\/globalsummit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgF-197x300.jpg 197w, https:\/\/globewomen.org\/globalsummit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgF-672x1024.jpg 672w, https:\/\/globewomen.org\/globalsummit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgF.jpg 1341w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 197px) 100vw, 197px\" \/>A native of the Philippines, Ms. Natividad is also a leader in the Asian American community, where she has focused her energies in politically empowering a group frequently referred to as \u201cthe invisible minority.\u201d\u00a0 She served as Deputy Vice Chair of the Democratic Party&#8217;s Asian Caucus from 1982 to 1984, and has continued to organize numerous Asian American groups at all levels.
