<\/a><\/p>\nOver 140 women board directors and executives led by Corporate Women Directors International (CWDI) President Irene Natividad opened the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) on September 30, 2016 to salute the contributions Mexican women have made to the country\u2019s economy.\u00a0 Brought together by CWDI, the historic event marked the first time an all-women bell-ringing ceremony took place at the Mexican Bolsa.<\/p>\n
\u201cMexican women, whether they are CEOs, board directors, executives, or entrepreneurs of businesses large or small, play a major role in the country\u2019s economy,\u201d states Natividad. \u201cWe are pleased to bring them together to salute their achievements.\u201d<\/p>\n
